Why I Love Elmo?

You know sometimes we take ourselves far too seriously.....

And whilst I want to tackle the hard questions on this blog, I also want to share some of the things that make me happy.

Right here right now I'm going to 'come out' as a big fan of Elmo.

Everytime I see him being interviewed, see a picture of him or see an Elmo doll in the toy store I just feel happy.

I'm not sure why.... maybe its because I love the colour red? Maybe its because he is always cheerful. Maybe because he is always positive and always has a positive message.

Maybe its because Elmo wants to be a teacher when he grows up because he believes its a very important job! For that alone I love him!

Although I embarass the hell out of my daughters, I have every conceivable Elmo t-shirt available and wear each and everyone of them with pride.

It doesn't really matter why, what matters is that Elmo always puts a smile on my face.
